Martina Hudson
Martina Hudson is the Education Officer at Reading Students’ Union, where she works to make every student’s voice is heard in shaping their academic experience. She currently sits on the University Council and Senate, contributing to decisions that affect teaching, learning and the overall student experience.
Martina has a strong interest in public law, policy and employment law. Her passion for fairness and inclusion had driven her to leadership roles such as Education Officer and Director of Reading Students’ Union and Co-founder of the RSU Women in Law Society. Her dedication has been recognised through awards such as ‘Long Term Commitment to Academic Representation’ and the Excellence Award for ‘Senior Rep of the Year (2024)’.
Beyond campus, Martina has represented UK students as a UN Women UK delegate and was invited to Parliament to represent the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ at the 2024 APPG Human Rights Day event, reflecting her commitment to equality and social justice. She believes that education should empower every student and works hard to create a collaborative, supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
