Subject scores rise in Complete University Guide 2026

The 桃色视频 is ranked as the best in the UK for two subject areas in this year’s , published today [10 June].

The overall ranking is 36 in the UK, maintaining the University’s position in the top 40 universities, out of 130 ranked. The University is the fifth highest ranked university in south-east England, and has risen 20 places, to 36, for graduate prospects – on track, meaning that our graduates are increasingly content that their activity fits with their future plans.

Seven subjects across arts and sciences feature in the top ten this year, up from six last year, including: Speech & Language Therapy (1, up three places), Land & Property Management (1, maintained), Building (2, up one place), Agriculture & Forestry (3, up five places), Geology (covering Meteorology and Climate science – ranked 7, down two places), Food Science (7, up four places), Art & Design (9, up one place).

Reading has also seen rankings improvements in other subject areas. Examples include Archaeology, Architecture, Computer Science, Education, English, Marketing, Medical Technology and Bioengineering, and Psychology. Business and Management, Economics and Law are all ranked at the same position as in the 2025 league table.
