Societies

Societies at Reading are beginner-friendly, but some also offer mixed-ability and advanced levels for those with more experience. Societies are either taught by professional teachers or are student-led, which makes for a wide variety of experiences and learning.

With over 100 societies in Reading Students' Union, we are confident that there is something for everyone. We play host to many different types of societies, fitting into the following activity groups: Academic & Career, Arts, Campaigns & Causes, Culture & Faith, Hobbies & Interests, and Politics.
